Whisky Whiskey is a video podcast about my exploration of Whisky in all of its forms.
Unlike my last year in review, this has genuinely been a full 12 months of Whisk(e)y tastings, reviews and learnings and I feel far better positioned to provide recommendations this time around. There’s some old favourites and some new discoveries to share! I pick my favourite recommendations for Easy-sipping, Sherried and Peated Whiskies that are reasonably priced…as well as throw in two of my absolute favourites of all time (so far). Strap yourself in…this is a good one!

This was the most expensive and oldest Whisky in the Advent Calendar I’ve been working my way through. I look into some of the history of the Glen Grant Distillery, it’s capacity and then try to decide if the most expensive and oldest offering in the Advent Calendar, was actually the best…or not.

When one of the family that owned the Lantenhammer Distillery set out to build his own and named it Slyrs, many in Germany weren’t paying too much attention. When they started producing world-class Whisky they quickly made a name for themselves. This offering was finished in ex-Pedro Ximénez Casks and the resulting Whisky is quite special.
