Whisky Whiskey is a video podcast about my exploration of Whisky in all of its forms.
My exploration of Campbeltown continues as I shift from Glengyle to Glen Scotia. This particular dram I tried at a Whisky Club evening and I subsequently grabbed a bottle when it was on special. Perhaps that’s spoiling the ending about how much I liked it…but let’s review this properly shall we?

With over a hundred Whisky reviews now in the books, I thought it might be fun to review and clip together the highlights of my 8 least favourite Whiskies from the first one hundred I’ve reviewed on the show. Remember that taste is subjective and this is just my opinion, and if you really like the 1495 Blended Scotch by Woolworths…power to ya…but it’s not for me. Enjoy!

The last of the GlenGoynes in the tasting pack is the 18 Year Single Malt. I look at the unusual map line the Distillery straddles to decide if it’s schizophrenic or not…the distillery history and rate the Scotch. Is it worth that amount of money? Let’s find out!

Continuing my exploration of the GlenGoyne offerings this time with the 12 Year Single Malt. I also look at how they prepare their barrels and blend different New Make in different casks to create their Distillery profile. Ultimately though how does it taste and is it better than the Chapter Three?
